Each element is set against the strict perfection andprecision of the grid, creating a cohesive pattern where every square presents a unique design. Through a series of repetitive, small carvings, ‘Waves ofSymmetry’ encompasses the ever-lasting and ever-evolving nature of the sea, highlighting the contrast between natural chaos and structured order.
The chess board meticulous hand-carved fragments on birchwood ply board, measures 55cm x 55cm x 1.2cm and is hand-painted and matt lacquered to create a stunning and dramatic piece.
